Hey everyone!

We wanted to check in real quick today to let y'all know that we're still here and working on pushing this book through! This process can be a little boring to some, but keep reading for a little bit of the inside scoop on how this works.

Now that the interior is done, this project is one of several that are in line to start getting quotes from our printer. This step is typically pretty quick, but with the holiday season around the corner, things are getting busy.

Once we send our final specs over for quoting, the printer will come back with a quote for the total print run. We'll make any needed adjustments and then send it back. All told the process can go through several rounds of revisions before we arrive at a final printing quote. As soon as we accept that quote, the printer will start working on templates for the jackets and the cases that we use to finalize the exterior designs (part of that pre-press phase we mentioned in our last update).

As we go through that process we'll update you on all the latest. Until then, we're waiting patiently for our turn!

Hi everyone!

Consider this your periodic reminder to update your shipping address if you've recently moved or expect to move soon! There will be a few more reminders like this, then a final one before fulfillment begins, so there's still plenty of time if you don't update anything right now. :)

You can find your pledge by opening the link below and entering the email address you use to access your Kickstarter account. That said, if your account uses an Apple ID email and you have had us change that on your pledge, please use the email you provided to us instead.

On that note...

In case we haven't mentioned it, there are generally two of us (Eira & Heather) who monitor messages and support emails, and we endeavor to answer each within 3-5 business days at the latest— usually much sooner. We work Monday-Friday 8am-4pm EST, except for US holidays. 

One of those holidays, Indigenous Peoples' Day, is this coming Monday so we won't be in the office. But rest assured, we'll work through whatever may come in when we return on Tuesday!

The book's interior has been completed!

Hi Everyone!

After our last update, this will be a quick one, but our designer has completed the layout for this book! With that in hand, we can now send it off to the printer to start the pre-press phase of the process. One of the first parts of that will be getting the signature pages printed, so once we get updates on that we'll let y'all know here!

Quick Look at the Interior

Hi everyone!

We have a quick look at the book's interior for you today! The layouts are nearly complete with only a few finishing touches left to put in. Once we have that and the page count, we'll be able to send that off to our printer to get the official cover templates. We'll explain what that means and why it's important in a future update, but for now, take a look at a pic our designer took!

Hi there, folks!

We hope you're well! While the rest of the Wraithmarked team has their nose to the grind, we wanted to take a moment and introduce ourselves! Whether you've left us a comment on the campaign page, sent us a support ticket, or even a Kickstarter DM, the majority of the time, you'll be chatting with two people!

Hey there! I'm Heather!

I'm fairly new to the Wraithmarked scene (coming up on one year in December!) and I can hardly believe it! I'm also head of our Wildcrown brand! 

Within Wraithmarked and Wildcrown, I'm a bit of a nerd. Outside of Wraithmarked and Wildcrown... also a nerd.  I build model kits, play too much WoW, and dote on my cats, Soren and Taro. I have my own illustration business which allows me to travel to different conventions and meet some truly fantastic con-goers and fellow artists alike! We may have even met before!

Even though I've got a lot under my belt, there's still so much for me to learn at Wraithmarked!

Hi! I'm Eira (pronounced like Ira)

I am in charge of coordinating the campaigns and fulfillment for nearly everything Wraithmarked does. I came to Wraithmarked close to 2 years ago after spending more than a decade as your friendly neighborhood IT gal. Most days, I can scarcely believe it's real. But here I am, with all you fine people, eagerly waiting to get my hands on this and every book we make. :)

A couple of quick things about me. I'm a sci-fi/horror author, a published tabletop RPG developer, and sometime musician. When I'm not being a total dork, I collect bumps and bruises by skating with a local roller derby team under the name 'Tryst Issues'. 

Okay, back to Wraithmarked...

We bring all this up to let you all know that when you interact with us, you're talking to real people who have been involved with the creative process from start to finish. It's super important that your experience with us is a good one. While we can't promise completely smooth sailing— manufacturing and distribution are tricky businesses— we will do our best to keep y'all informed as the process progresses.
